wood knive, fork and spoon

Pressed from birch, they are light, cheap and biodegradable. Birch is a relatively fast growing deciduous tree that can reach heights of around 30 m. It grows across North America, Asia and Europe. It is strong, durable and inexpensive. Alternatively, species of poplar, or aspen, are used to make these types products.

Wood is a naturally antibacterial material and certain types, like birch, are almost tasteless, making them ideal for products like toothpicks, disposable cutlery and toys.
